The Salkehatchie Campus of the University of South Carolina serves the residents of Allendale,
Barnwell, Bamberg, Colleton, and Hampton Counties, as well as neighboring areas. The campus
offers the first two to three years of academic work leading to a Bachelor's degree.
Advantages of the Salkehatchie campus include quality instruction at low tuition costs, a
strong link to other campuses within the University of South Carolina System, and the
individual attention that each student receives both in and out of the classroom. The
Salkehatchie campus is composed of three academic divisions: the Division of Humanities and
Social Sciences, the Division of Professional Studies, and the Division of Science and
Mathematics.
